Superman Christopher Reeve commission by Dexter Wee

nicely won at the OAX auction where the open bar got wallets nice and warmed up! beautiful colors on this Superman piece. I've been meaning to watch that documentary film about Christopher Reeve but haven't yet had the chance. Watching it on the plane while getting to the show was a great idea and I'm sure inspirational.

Watching the doc was inspirational and pretty much set me up for the purchase.

I agree that no other actor that has portrayed Superman has come asclose close to embodying what Kal El is all about.

Inspiring movie and inspiring artwork!  You might have to ask if Dexter watched the movie to get ready drawing this nostalgic and emotional powerhouse work!

Congrats on snagging a lovely piece featuring the first true superhero, played by the only actor who has ever embodied everything that the character is about!
