You're killing me with that spot on dialog from one of my favorite scenes in the movie.  Of course that's not what is depicted in this drawing (she was wearing a dress as she ran to the corner).  But yeah, that scene gets me every time.

Thank you my friend.  Unfortunatey, the only was I can escape to Rome is by watching this movie.  Haha!  Well, at least that way I get to look at Audrey as well as the beautiful city.

the way she is looking back at us (you!) is certainly mezmerizing, tough to snap out of staring too long but kudos for managing it, ha! Even though I'm way too young to have appreciated her films closer to their worldwide relevancy as new releases, ever since I saw Breakfast at Tiffany's when I was younger I was captivated by her beauty and screen presence, and have gone back and seen many of her films including Roman Holiday and Sabrina (good choices!). This is a real beautiful and delicate piece by James Martin, love this theme for collecting commissions! congrats.

I remember you mentioned this since it was being flattened, but nice to finally see it.  Great likeness and use of colors here by James.  Congrats!

Haha!  That's right.  This was under 50 lbs of IDW books when you came to visit.  Have you been waiting all this time to see it?  Hope it was worth the wait.  Ha!  There are still some shadow creases on the right, but I think the scanner might be accentuating those more than they appear in person.  Anyway, thanks for the comment my friend.  See you in the Spring.
