Truman has such a unique style. He is that rare throwback to Will Eisner as a writer and artist. Great pick up.

This was one of my favorite titles on the newsstand at the time. Truman doesn't seem to get the accolades he deserves for producing such high quality work independently in the 1980s small press era —or even after with Vertigo.
This is a beauty.

Even back in the 1948, they didn't give Truman credit as the headlines read "Dewey Defeats Truman".

Roosevelt should have stuck with Lodge.

Great cover and a perfect expression of what I loved about this comic. This is what I was hoping for with my Truman commission.

Incredible! Love this Scout cover by Timothy Truman! Scout is one of those great 90s titles that you never hear much about any more, it's sadly underappreciated.. I know I read Scout regularly and enjoyed it. This cover is a very memorable one. Beautifully drawn and inked by Truman, it really captures the mood of the storyline. Set in a dystopian future US in which the country has become a third-world country, it was a fascinating comic, beautifully drawn and written by Truman. Love this image of Emanuel Santana standing defiantly and holding up his weapons. Phenomenal pick-up, congrats!

Gave away the complete run to a friend 30 years ago. Just bought another from my shop...have wanted to revisit for a while now. These covers were all so awesome. Really embraced the whole post-armegeddon/survivalist fiction movement of the '80s.
