Description
Conan shares a meal with a distracted beauty in this drawing created for the gallery art book featuring the Cimmerian barbarian. Graphite on 13.75" x 10" art paper. Slight toning, onion-skin overlay taped at the top, with light smudging/handling wear. Signed by Villagrán in the lower right image area and in Excellent condition.

Knowing this would be in a SQ production brings out the perfectionist in Villagran.  The crossharches are just in the right measure to define the textures of the environment around the figures.  Best of all, the illustration brings us into Conan's world.
