Karate Kid vs. Death's Head by Bryan Hitch and Simon Gough

I'm not 100% sure when I first saw Bryan Hitch's art, but the story I always think of is a Death's Head story Bryan drew for Marvel Comics Presents #76. It was a fun story with amazing art. Bryan has had an incredible career in comics since then, knocking everyones' socks off with his work on many books, including The Authority, The Ultimates, Justice League, and most recently, Redcoat. I was lucky enough to commission Bryan last year, and recently received this masterpiece! Bryan still draws one heck of a Death's Head, and he draws a pretty great Karate Kid, as well! The asteroid field background, the shading and textures on Death's Head, and being able to see Val's toes are just some of my favorite parts of this commission. I quickly sent this piece over to colorist extraordinaire Simon Gough to add some hues, and he made it look even more gorgeous! While I definitely know that Simon can color Karate Kid in his sleep at this point, it's always a thrill to see him color a new character such as Death's Head! Big thanks to both Bryan and Simon for rocking it on this commission!

I'm assuming that everyone's favorite "Freelance Peacekeeping Agent" Death's Head has been hired to travel to the future to take out or capture Val Armorr, and he's prepared for a fight, but maybe not this tough a fight. Val's gonna kick his metal head in!

It would take an artist like Hitch to set up Death's Head for this match up of Marvel UK vs DC!
