Description
Ever since I first encountered Tomas' artwork on Conan, I’ve been absolutely captivated. His King Conan illustrations, his heavy pencils, are nothing short of extraordinary. These pieces rarely come into the limelight, so when I discovered a page up for grabs, I knew it had to be mine!

"Wolves Beyond the Border" is an intriguing fragment that Robert E. Howard had started but left unfinished. Tim Truman speculates that REH might have been planning to interconnect his three iconic barbarian characters—Kull, Conan, and Bran Mak Morn. In Truman’s brilliant adaptation, he achieves this connection through the Serpent Crown, an artifact passed through the Picts.

Here, Tomas masterfully depicts a gripping scene with the splash of Kull and Brule battling the Serpent Men, beautifully inset at the top alongside vivid glimpses of Atlantis. At the bottom, a stunned Conan is shown falling under the spell of the Serpent Crown. The visual storytelling here is absolutely breathtaking.

What a remarkable piece! Tomas’ work truly brings this tale to life.

An absolute treat!

Giorello's pencil work is so finished like it was inked and colored already as the proper lineweights and levels of shading are used.  These sword and sorcery titles really bring out the best from him.

Tomas is amazing! I'm amazed at the amount of detail he can put into each page. This page is a perfect example of his talent. Congrats!
