Inferno by
Nate Stockman
I am a huge fan of Nate Stockman, and I am a huge fan of the Legion of Super-Heroes. So, when Nate started posting these Legionnaire drawings using his more animated style, I loved them all. And not long after messaging him about them, a deal was struck where I would purchase them all! I received the original black and white art along with a digital file of the colored version. This one features everyone's favorite fiery female Legionnaire with a bad attitude - Sandy Anderson aka Inferno! Inferno was another new character added for the Reboot version of the Legion of Super-Heroes. She was originally a member of Leland McCauley's Workforce team, but like a few others in that group, left to join the Legion. Sandy was part of a group of Legionnaires who traveled to the present day, but unlike the rest of the group, she remained in the present. Inferno even got her own miniseries in 1997 written and drawn by Stuart Immonen! Nate depicts Sandy perfectly here, with an angry snarl and some blazing hands. I also really dig the lighting on Inferno in the color version. Thanks, Nate!
