The unbreakable Spell
written by Leo Dorfman

A bizarre tale in which Comet the Super Horse is temporarily in his human form of Biron. He meets and falls in love with Lois Lane. In a bizarre twist, an evil magician turns Lois in a Super Filly.
Reverting to his equine form Comet finds Lois the Super Filly. Is Lois now destined to roam the galaxy as Biron's (Comet) companion or will Superman find a way to break the unbreakable spell.

From where I stand, you are home free
The planets align, so rare
There's promise in the air
And I'm guiding you
Through every turn, I'll be near you
I'll come anytime you call
I'll catch you when you fall
I'll be guiding you
You have to believe we are magic
Nothin' can stand in our way
You have to believe we are magic
Don't let your aim ever stray
And if all your hopes survive, destiny will arrive
I'll bring all your dreams alive for you
I'll bring all your dreams alive for
you.

Why the long face?

Isn't this the splash to that panel page you posted a few months back? Or were there more than one of these "Superhorse" stories? It still blows my mind that DC editors thought it was a good idea and saw nothing wrong with the bestiality undertones. No matter what, everyone knew that Lois' new man was hung like a horse. Literally!

Give me Swan
Mike Espo
Horsey town
No way home
Bring on the dancing horses
Breathless when all is shown

Shiver at Lane in curse
And every line artwork

Curse I'm gonna gallup
Then I'm gonna break it
Comet tails the art
Hating all the faking
And racing while spell's breaking
Your brittle heart

Incredible. I never thought I would see this page.  This is the crown jewel of your Comet collection.

Beautiful work by Swan, who could bring power and emotion to even the most far out scenario. Congratulations on a spectacular page!

I was taking it very seriously until I read "Steed Of Steel" followed by "Mare Of Might" :)

Even with the silly theme, it's nice Swan art on this title page nonetheless!
