Description

Big thank you to Jason for letting me take this one from you! Beautiful DPS from a very key X-men issue . The X-men finally find a cure for the Legacy Virus… but for it to work Colossus had to die.. this was 2001 when comic book deaths kind of still meant something so it was a jarring hit to the team losing a pillar. Larroca and Townsend do a wonderful job setting up the issue with the whole team listening to the beast talk about the disease while also recapping the what’s come before with the original of the disease and recaps some of the mutants had passed . Tons of mutants both in the room and the recap. Obviously a very memorable issue so I’m very happy to add it to my collection.

Colossus wouldn't return until the Whedon / Cassaday Astonishing X-Men series 3 years later when Kitty would be there for him.
