Description

Here's a gorgeous cover by Sal Velluto from 2001! I love this cover, showing Cap vs the Black Panther, in 1941, showing Cap with this triangular shield, while the Black Panther has a shield as well! I love all the soldiers in the background as well, helping set the WW2 atmosphere... Big thanks go to the one and only Rob Gomez for helping me get this one!

Sal is one of the greats for both Black Panther and Moon Knight. An awesome classic cover.

tremendous cover design and imagery surrounding WWII here, yeah that's a very nice Cap and Black Panther piece. congrats Alberto!

Cap has met his match in T'Chaka! Velluto drew this like an illustration from the time period that's depicted. Cap's adventure in the exotic land of Wakanda would have set the homefront ablaze with imagination!

I also love that the art is drawn inside a cameo shaped panel, with the figures coming out of it.
