Story written by Larry Lieber

A black cowboy, Rafe Larsen is framed for the murder and robbery of a gambler.
The townspeople want to lynch him but the Kid steps in and stops it. He later finds the man who framed Rafe. Rafe is then freed. In the end the Rawhide Kid agrees that 'Bigotry and Hate will end but not in our lifetime'.

This may the first time that a black person was featured on a Marvel Western comic cover.

I love seeing older Marvel Western covers. This one has a nice point of view and it featuring an African American cowboy is a true rarity! Super cool!
