Description

Here's one of my acquisitions from this year's Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention, which I picked up in partnership with my friend, Glynn Crain. By the great Virgil Finlay, it's from the January 1951 issue of the pulp, Fantastic Novels, illustrating Arthur Leo Zagat's classic tale, "Drink We Deep."

It's all amazing, but the pointilism technique on her skin is especially outstanding.
