Killer battle page!  Layton tightens up the look and action as good as any of Guice's inkers in the 80's.  Bricks rule!

Thanks for sharing these two Thor #356 pages, Rick. This is my favourite fill-in story of all time and not only was the Guice/Layton combination incredibly symbiotic during the mid-80's, but the story in this issue was also really funny and just plain fun!

This is a great issue.  The Thor/Herc battles were always epic.  Butch and Bob did such a great job on this book.

This story is fantastic, Hercules tells a child how he easily knocks Thor out.
He was obviously making up the story.
