Description
Fun page from the story, What If Aunt May had been Bitten by a Radioactive Spider?
This page features the FIRST Appearance of Aunt May as the Spider-Ma'am.
I know it’s a wild story, but I like it.

I want to know why Marvel Animation didn't adapt this concept/story for their What If? series. Wasted opportunity!!! Haha love this.

What a wonderful acquisition!  This is such a fun issue.  I was lucky enough to get a few pages later in this story, and I really treasure them.  But wow, this is her very first appearance!  Major congrats!!

This idea was ridiculous when it was first published and is just as absurd today. But that 6th panel is AWESOME!

Over the top and fun. I agree with Ruben that the 6th panel is fantastic.

She's the reason the third Spider-Verse movie is delayed.  A cameo is inevitable and her wheatcakes are too irresistable to Spider-Ham.

What a funny "What if?" page! Usually "What if?" stories are so serious but this one is so absurd it leaves you with a smile. Love the opening panel of Aunt May clinging to the brick wall and then letting herself down by bending a streetlamp to slide down on. Then it's funny when she walks past a sleeping Uncle Ben. But the best scene is the one right after she's sewn her costume and looks at herself in the mirror. Oh dear, the Spider-M'am costume looks all wrong on Aunt May! Excellent work by Alan Kupperberg! Great pick-up, congrats!
