This important and atmospheric moment from "Book Four: Fire With Fire" and final chapter of the Punisher origin story finds Frank newly donned in the skull vest, realizing vengeance alone won't cut it: they must be punished. Here in the final scene of the series with Frank, he finally gets his hands on Billy "Beaut" Russo as Frank is finally able to realize some justice for the massacre of his family and his punishment would ultimately become the original origin story for Jigsaw and graphically show why he got his name! Ink and white paint over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15.75". Heavy smudging, marginal editorial notes, marginal sketches and ink marks, minor edge creasing/handling wear. Has penciled eyes in the lower margin, as well as a hilarious forest creature in the bottom left corner, outside of the finished art. Signed by Eaglesham in the lower right margin.
