Description
Daniel Warren Johnson and Riley Rossmo - The Moon is Following Us #4 p 19

The book is great, but the shared art duties are magical. DWJ on panels 3 and 5, with him going more minimalist than I’ve ever seen. Riley on panels 1, 2, 4, and 6.

You’ll see a first take on the fourth panel in additional images.

11x17 on art board; Image Comics

Two star collaborators working together like this is a rare and beautiful thing!  I don't think it happens often with both artists on a career high.

Their combined art pages are perfect and this is such a great example. The heartbreak they are experiencing being ripped out of them then the close up of their daughter, perfect!

There's a lot to enjoy here with Rossmo's panels bringing energy and pacing, but I've never seen DWJ be so minimalist in an interior before. I love it!

Those evenly sized horizontal panels work to great effect for the scene!  Congrats!
