Description
When I first saw this in my friend Carl's video unboxing I was impressed and secretly jealous of this awesome splash. Imagine my surprise when he made it available. A great representation of Superman Blue after they split Superman up into two entities.

Yea, the sharks surprised me. I saw the satellita and assumed they were in space as I have not read that issue.

Blue is where it's at!  Those who don't even collect Superman would be fascinated by this brief period in time for thsi version that hasn't been brought back since.

But they have teased the return. I believe Jon Kent wore a similar blue suit about a year or two ago

When Carl unboxed this piece, the dark background and satellite made me think it was an outer space scene. It wasn't until YOU unboxed it and mentioned that it was an under water scene that I noticed those sharks!

I myself didn't realize it until I unboxed it.

Happy to see this one head your way Lee!! Thankfully I still have a really nice Electric Blue Superman commisson from Frenz & Rubinstein!

As a side, when I first bought this at auction I thought he was in space too! Haha I did mention it was the ocean with sharks in the water in my unboxing but clearly on first glance with that satellite there, it definitely reads as outer space!

Thanks again my friend!

Carl, thanks for making it available my friend. It's such a great image that it doesn't really matter that it is in the ocean as opposed to space. But given that it is black and white artwork, it is easy to make the space assumption.
