That is awesome!! Congrats!!
That's a Dino F.A.L.C.O.N. if ever there was one, and that ship cuts a fine full figure. She's got it where it counts, just like this splash. Congrats!
Haha perfect reference! thanks buddy, and I really appreciate getting to collect Star Wars art alongside you and sharing our spoils! :)
This is really cool to have in any collection. Nicely done, Kavi.
A GREAT Falcon piece!
Congrats Kavi! Powerful splash!
This is an absolute jaw-dropper.
Bravo! Brings back some memories. The Falcon always seemed more detailed in the comics than it did in the movies.
Wow! Even with my limited Star Wars knowledge this page immediately explains itself in epic proportions. Beautiful title splash! Huge congrats bro!
Anything with the Millennium Falcon gets an enthuiastic thumbs up from me! Wonderful page Kavi!
Wow dude! Nice!
Hard to imagine a Falcon page getting better than this. Awesome!
I love great big shots of well known aircraft in comics, though flipping through the comic book, I might not have stopped to admire this page. Remove the color however, and NOW we're talking! Great shot of one of the most famous ships in the galaxy, backed by a beautifully sip-a-toned planet, which itself is backed by classic outer space scenery! Add to that the fact that it was high on your want list and you've got yourself an absolute banger to be treasured. Congratulations, dude!
Thanks buddy, and it was fun "debuting" it on your show earlier this year - gave me a little bit of a "sharing fix" for it before waiting several more months for Star Wars month to arrive ;)
reminds me of the Jefferson;s song 'Moving on up!" in terms of building the collection. Beautiful pick up, by the way!
Very cool, congrats! (I'm just about to indulge in a rewatch of the original trilogy!)
Awesome page!
This is an outstanding splash page featuring one of the greatest space ship designs of all time--congratulations!
YES!
Cheat the odds that made you brave to try to Gammill at times
Well I feel like Mary Duffy sendin' sickest Tom Palmer line
Tell you why
'Cause I'm jealous, Lucas again
Thought I like that I let Luke in
Yeah, I'm jealous, Lucas again
Got no time, Kavi
Always drunk on splash page, tryin' to feel like buy Falcon
Smell the Palpatine burnin', boys out feelin' nervous and cold
Oh yeah, yeah
I'm jealous, Lucas again
Thought Jedi, I let Luke in
Stenax, Shuffle again
Lando time, Kavi
Stop, under Kerry
I ain't afraid of losin' Force faith
Stop, until Han’s free
I ain't afraid of ever losin' faith in Luke, hey
Extraordinary splash of the Millenium Falcon, very cool Kavi!
Great splash page of the Milliennium "Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs" Falcon!
My very first screen name / email as a kid was Mileniumfalcon@aol.com, before I even knew how to spell it LOL! Awesome piece dude, this is awesome!
Oh hell yeah! Love the zip-a-tone!
Congrats on your grail acquisition!
Phenonemal pickup bro! Congrats!!
Nice!
Wow man!!!! That is insanelly beautiful!!!!!
To be honest, as you know how much I love Gammill art, I don't see much of his here. First because of the subject matter as it does not leave much artistic personality to shine and second, because Palmer is so overpowering over all artists he inked (which paradoxally helped maintain consistency to SW).
AND YET, no one could deny that this is a SPLENDID show stopper of a title splash. This is the kind of art that anyone, comic lover or not, would admire hanging on your wall, so huge congrats, my friend.
A title splash devoted to one of the most iconic ships of all time? A space ship that may not be flesh and blood but is definitely a Star War character in its own right?!? Oh yeah baby, sign me up!! This is a FANTASTIC splash page, Kavi, congrats!!
congrats, that is a very, very, very cool page!!
"The greatest space fantasy of all" indeed!
Showcasing the intergalactic riz of the MF
Gorgeous title splash and I love seeing all the text on the page.
Wow! What an incredible piece! Gotta love seeing the Millenium Falcon in all of its glory!! Tom Palmer's inks on this look great to me! Definitely a page any Star Wars fan would be delighted to own!!!
Wow, Kavi!!!! When the Millennium Falcon is on a Star Wars page, it doesn't get any better but this is true Holy Grail material!! The detail and large foreground prominence make this the best Millennium Falcon page I can recall ever seeing. Congratulations!!!!
Fantastic splash with everything any Star Wars fan would want or need!
The Falcon deserves its own title page as it is just a recognizable as any of your favorite Star Wars charactors. This a a great get - congrats.
How cool is this title page - congrats!
Great Star Wars title page Kavi. Congrats!
Iconic with a capital "I". That line at the top pretty much says it all. THE GREATEST SPACE FANTASY OF ALL TIME! In basketball, there's something called a sixth man. For me, that's what the Falcon means to Star Wars. After Luke, Leia, Han Chewie, R2, and 3PO, the Falcon is basically another main character. The seventh man, if you will. Congrats on this truly epic splash.
Permission to squeeee?
Epic title splash
I've got a good feeling about this....
Such an awesome piece! Wow. Major congrats Kavi for acquiring such a fantastic image.
I did not see Rise of Skywalker. But my favorite thing of the Star Wars sequel trilogy was to see the Millennium Falcon again. It’s so great to see this in your collection.
You know you have a winner, when only 2 days later, someone is adding the 51st comment. I'd say this is the coolest Star Wars page 1 splash I've seen. Gammill nailed it!
Congratulations.
Beautiful shot of the Falcon flying towards a planet. Growing up in the 1980s, Marvel's Star Wars comics were one of the few places where we could get a regular dose of a galaxy far, far away. The fact that they had great artwork like this is why those stories are still so well-remembered decades later. Congrats on the awesome pickup!
Congrats Kavi - she's a beauty. Loved it when you got it, love it even more seeing it on CAF. Amazing.
Kerry Gammill is an underrated author. What a mind-blowing Star Wars splash.
What an absolutely sick splash of the most iconic ship ever created in science fiction!
That's a showstopper! Primo Star Wars, congrats!!
EPIC opening splash!!! I can't believe I missed this when you posted - at least I than 12 parsecs. Congrats!
Absolutely love the effect with the title!
A great piece and I'm happy that it lives in your collection!
What a gorgeous image of the Falcon
Absolutely incredible SW splash! Definately wall worthy! Congrats!
Intergalactic planetary, planetary, planetary...makes me want to do the Stenax shuffle. This one creates a huge splash! Congrats on a quintessential illustration of the Milennium Falcon and sorry for not payin mind to this one earlier!
Fantastic Star Wars splash page by Kerry Gammill and Tom Palmer! Who doesn't love a page that features a great big drawing of the Millennium Falcon? Wonderfully detailed ship with the title of the story drawn in perspecitive, streaming behind it, not unlike the Star Wars movie titles. Phenomenal pick-up, congrats!
Huge congrats, man! Getting a title splash from the OG series, not an easy feat, let alone one featuring one of the main CHARACTERS in the Milennium Falcon! Love the title lettering being lettered in the blast trail! Definitely happy for you with this one, Kavi, congrats!
Huge historic art with iconic spaceship!
I ditto all the positive comments. Awesome.
That really is everything you'd want from a Star Wars page. It captures all of the excitiment of watching the films for the first time.
What a treasure! This takes me back
Could one ever -HOPE- for a cooler splash?!? I think not! Kerry and Tom hit the hyperdrive on the hyper-detail and turn in a Falcon fit for this (or any other) millennium. BEAUTIFUL. Fantastic galactic backgrounds, too, and using the zipatone screen for the planet allows the moon and starship to both skate smoothly over the surface -and- pop out like nobody's business. Just fantastic (although you know any chance of things ultimately working out surprisingly well for our heroes was just torpedoed by Luke in his dialogue bubble... COME ON, LUKE!! :) ). Massive congrats, Kavi! MOST impressive.
Way too cool! Is there anything Kerry Gammill can't do? Such an epic piece!
