Can’t afford a prime 1940s Dick Tracy original? How about a stellar little 1940s hand-colored specialty drawing by Chester Gould? This piece features both Dick Tracy and Junior, with Tracy in that classic profile. The piece is drawn in India ink and watercolor, inscribed with a beautiful and bold Gould signature. This terrific specialty drawing measures 3¼”x near 6¾”, and is in excellent condition. There is a bit of light dry-brush on the reverse, likely from Gould’s drawing table. If you’re looking for a nice representation of Gould’s 1940s work without the heavy price tag, look no further. $400.00 + 8.00 first class shipping.
