Chameleon Sketch Card by Derec Donovan

Next up in my Donovan sketch card haul is Chameleon! Somehow, this is the first Cham piece in my collection, and I'm always glad to be able to knock another Legionnaire off my "Characters I Don't Have Yet" list. I like the simpler pose of this card, in comparison to the previous two - Cham almost gives the impression he's listening or scanning for something, with his antennae standing at attention. And something I really appreciate about Derec's colourwork here is that he got the aqua accents on Cham's uniform just right. Some artists tend to colour it too dark or too purely blue, but Derec's work here is almost perfectly comic-accurate, which I always love to see in the art I collect.
