Description
3-2025...Some cool production backgrounds for 1960 Looney Tunes short with some very nice architecture!

Directed by Robert McKimson, the short is a witty parody of the popular television show The Honeymooners, featuring characters Ralph Crumden and Ned Morton in a humorous escapade involving a cat, showcasing the clever and comedic storytelling typical of Robert McKimson.

These backgrounds, expertly hand-painted in gouache on 12 field-size board, were created by the accomplished Bob Singer. With a distinguished career that includes over 100 screen credits, Singer's work spans five decades at major studios like Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera. His skill as a production designer and background painter is evident in these pieces, which depict the steps leading to Ralph and Ned's apartments, setting a vivid scene for the animated antics. In Good condition, these artworks exhibit light edge wear and pinholes in the corners, typical of production use. They not only represent a piece of animation history but also serve as a testament to the artistry that defines the golden era of Warner Bros. animation.
