TIM BURTON - Tim Burton Hand-painted Tile

A tile hand-painted by Tim Burton. This tile is one of several hand-painted tiles originally gifted to Burton's then-wife, Lisa-Marie, and later sold during an estate sale following their breakup.

This glazed tile features a spiral hand-brushed in black underglaze pen over a white background. The back of the tile also includes hand-written notes that read "Black Axner underglaze pen (Brushed On) Invision Clear (2 coats brushed) Over-all," detailing the painting and glazing materials used for the piece. The tile exhibits cracking and some discoloration on the surface from age.
