Description
The Noosphere: New Goddesses Book 1 is a Kirby inspired, trippy-dippy cosmic creation myth in comic book form. Throughout the book, several key cosmic beings are given splash pages to show off Glaubitz's awesome character designs. Of those, the "imaginal shaman" was my favorite, so I was stoked to find out that Sean from Athenaeum had this page available, even though it was not listed on the site.

Glaubitz's art is something to behold up close. His characters have such unique designs and he pours so much detail into every page. The amount of ink he uses is only beaten by the amount of tones he uses! The night sky? TONES! The crystal flower and shaded lower section of the upper right hand panel? TONES! Large portions of the legs, arms, and head of the main figure? TONES! Makes me wonder if he makes an annual pilgrimage to Japan to stock up on the good stuff like Felix's crew does.

12 x 18 on board. Pencils, inks, white out?, and more zip than you can shake a stick at!

I'm gonna call this "Rock Head, floating in The Persistence of Memory". Am I tripping on acid?
