Thank you Ken! Loving your collection! And I couldn't agree more (which is why I fell for this page and the spot and had to have it) - Give Me Liberty is indeed a landmark work, perhaps somewhat overlooked but a real classic. And I feel it's spirit of resistance and heroism in the face of tyranny & cruelty is more relevant than ever. Also a damn good read!

Thanks for the respect to this great page from an epic graphic novel, Bill! I absolutely agree regarding this being some of Frank Miller's best writing, too. Prime Gibbons + prime Miller = one heck of a ride and a feast for the eyes!  

A great composition. The narrower panels at the bottom accentuate the explosion in the wider top tier, but also make the figure of the surgeon fill the lower part of the page. Lovely, clean lines too. Nice page!
