Description
Another Piece to my Universal Monsters Collection by Ryan Kelly. I don't know if these kind of characters are common requests but he really brings the black & White films to Bristol! Claude Rains played this Madman in a film that really blended Science Fiction and Horror. It may seem tame today. but in 1933 this was concepts and ideas that you never saw on the big screen. These kind of films before CGI and how they made them always amazed me. Ryan decided to show the character in the Robe outfit towards the end of the film. (The character changed attires based on where he was) I feel this is the more iconic outfit the character was in. The wrappings the glasses. He soo nails this one. Ryan puts soo much into these pieces.

Now a little bit of Film history. The female lead in this film was played by Gloria Stuart. Now in 2025 most people have never seen this film. I get that. But I promise you a lot of people haver seen Gloria Stuart. She played Rose in a film by James Cameron called Titanic! You might of heard of that one lolz. Two Billion Dollars at the Box Office buys a lot of eyes.

She's just as evil.  Instead of giving the Heart of the Ocean necklace to her heirs so they'd be rich, she threw it back into the ocean in memory of a one week boy toy fling.  At least the Invisible Man dies to end his curse.  The curse of poverty continues to haunt Rose's family.  Very nice Invisible Man drawing as he's in the iconic look of the film with wardrobe, setting, and b&w film style from Ryan Kelly's gray tones.
