"Heroes Redrawn"- Rockman by Lee Ferguson & Bob Almond: Commission

This here is my 130th commission from the most-prolific client I have with my first opportunity to work on Timely/Marvel Golden Age superhero Rockman who appeared 4 times in the first 4 issues of USA Comics from Marvel's precursor Timely Comics in 1941-42 and much later in 2008 in the series The Twelve. This piece was reinterpreted from a Golden Age page by Basil Wolverton by artist Lee Ferguson, my third attempt at inking him. I used Sakura micron markers, Pitt brush marker, Kuretake medium disposable pocket brush pen and Zebra fine disposable brush pen. I completed this on August 23, 2025.
