This is great!
Love it!! Congrats!
Incredible, congrats Daryl!
Fun homage! I like that Manix stuck to the black and white of the original but added his flair/style for the character designs to it of course. The Frankenstein logo he crafted in and in the red that pops above the main image was also a nice touch!
Yeah the logo is great, and as is the case with most Manix pieces, it's impossible to capture the actual color with a scanner or even a photo. This picture doesn't show how vibrant the logo color actually is.
Manixational!
Too Good! Also missing the term 'Young' at the top. The Doctor has a great resemblance to Gene Wilder!
Beautiful beautiful Manix illustration. One of the best! Very rare having a black and white piece from Manix and the red lettering is so nice.
Agreed on all accounts. Besides, how could I disagree with a certified Manix art expert? This was a fantastic commission idea (thanks Lance) and Manix did it justice. Thanks again for passing it on to me my friend!
Elite Manix artwork!! So much emotion is in this one with the tortured soul that you feel bad for the monster!
The facial expressions are great. Totally elevates the art to a different level. The Monster kinda looks like he ate too many chili dogs.
He also looks like Marcus' avatar after a long night out on the town.
I'm looking forward to that scene in Del Toro's new movie.
That is super cooooool!
A beautiful example of Manix's amazing and unique style.
Very cool!
Damn, Manix really has range, this is incredible!!
Manix does justice to Berni's vision.
AmazinG!!
So THIS is the secret Manix piece - I love the lettering!
No, this is not the commission Manix is currently working on. And even that piece is no secret if you look on IG or FB! This one just became available and happened to fit perfectly into my collection so I had to get it.
Great Manix - congrats .
The monster's facial expression is chef's kiss.
An epic Manix tribute to the master. Manix captures Wrightson's horror and eerie feel while bringing his own touch to it. Deceptively playful, Manix has the soul of an kind artist but delights in dark humor. Great grab!
Man, this is perfect. Homage subject is clearly but uber Manix-ized! Also love the pop of red in the lettering. Congrats!
