Description

I discovered Tom's incredible tonal pencil renderings on ebay back in 1999... right about the time he stopped doing 'em regularly. So the demand for them, and hence the price, went sky-high, especially after he started getting a lot of mutant work at Marvel. I kept pining away, hoping some unlucky schlub would decide to part with his and not realize how valuable it was and let it go super-cheap. Never happened. Kept trying to win the covers and pinups that went up for sale from his great Nightside miniseries, but no luck - they got really expensive, at least moreso than I could comfortably afford. Then in late 2002, his art rep posted this fantastic pinup for auction, and I got lucky and won her for a heckuva lot less than I would've expected. And Tom was nice enough to personalize her to me! Pencil on 11x17 Bristol.
