Description
A great strip featuring Johnny and his longest running love interest and pilot extraordinaire Kitty Hawkes. Johnny is rushing to her side after a mishap almost caused Kitty to crash land while the pair were filming stunts for an overzealous film director. Strips featuring Kitty don’t turn up too often and I was immediately drawn to the killer last panel featuring Johnny punching the director in the face. I won this in an auction and afterwards excitedly pulled out my Johnny Hazard hardcovers to read the storyline the strip is from only to discover that the striking (no pun intended) last panel was actually used as the cover for the collection!

Congratulations Chirs!

I had my eye on this and was an underbidder in that auction. Fell this is a perfect example of the strip. Guess the reprint publisher agrees and made this the cover.

Thanks so sharing this here with us.

Thanks Lee! I was the under bidder in a couple of the previous weeks Hazard strips with the underwater knife fight so I really didn't want to let this one go. Cheers!

This strip hits with strong emotions of love and fury showing  Robbins' strengths as a storyteller.  Very attractive strip with something that has great visual appeal in each panel.

Well here it is... I fought as much as I could on this one... ...For the panel composition that is impeccable in each panel, for the F86 Sabre the T33 in the back and the great reunion between Johnny and Kitty. And that SMASH at the end...

At least I know where it is, in a great passionate gallery. Once you can let it go, I'd love to receive a message...
