Infinity War #5 Page 9 by Ron Lim (1992) Captain America Confronts Thanos!

The Jim Starlin Infinity Gauntlet Trilogy in the early 1990s was huge to say the least. I added to my bucket list in 2025 a page from Infinity Gauntlet by George Perez featuring Cap confronting the all-powerful Thanos. While that didn't materialize, I couldn't pass on this page from Infinity War by Ron Lim that also has Cap confronting Thanos. Featuring a ton of Marvel characters... Wonder Man, Vision, Hercules, She-Hulk, Invisible Woman, Guardian, Drax... I love the bold tap on Thanos' shoulder to let him know Cap is not afraid of him, and the backing down by Thanos. The star lit sky in the background reminds the reader... this is a tale of cosmic proportions!
