Glad to have passed this page on to you. American Flagg does not get the recognition it deserves. Although acknowledged, it really deserves to be up there with Watchmen and Dark Knight Returns. What Chaykin did here influenced and made possible those other books and all the breakthrough series that came after.

Great page! Congratulations! It reminds me of another theme Chaykin started/was ahead of his time - introducing a seemingly main character, and then killing them off almost immediately. Hey, Hammerhead!
