The first and third panel effects are so different that it isn't surprise they'd be done on different boards. What we do have of the page is two tiers of the fantasy illustration that Gilbert and Russell put their full effort into for a high class treatment of Elric in fantasy and mystical storytelling. As a whole, this is representative of the times when the genre was met with greater expectations from the artists.
The 70's and 80's were the best! Loved his Killraven.
Gilbert and Russell were perfect for this series. Sweet page!
