Nice oil painting Rick! That unique red tree bark adds more spookiness and I like seeing the sky peak through the top. And if you look at it long enough I'm sure Swamp Thing will emerge from the tree :) - Happy Halloween!

Fire Down Below. A Bob Seger song, a Steven Segal movie, and now an oil masterpiece by one of CAF's own. Love the colors and the perfectly suited frame. You're full of surprises buddy.

It's not only intensity of the redness, but the way the branches have no leaves and are all spikey that give us the burning, itching, and soreness sensation that flares up. I need soothing, cooling relief on contact right away.

Not only is it amazing to think that trees like these exist, but it's even more amazing to see your vivid and intense interpretation of them, Rick. This could be the backdrop for a killer Gothic paperback cover. Outstanding!
