Morpheus [Sandman] by Zoe Lacchei

While I was in Lucca, this beauty had landed in my mailbox!

I've always loved Zoe Lacchei's renderings of mythical characters, and I'm so glad I finally got to ask her for a Morpheus piece. The details are exquisite—the flowing hair, the fine linework, and that whisper of gold ink that catches the light like stardust. It feels both delicate and powerful, exactly how I imagine the Dream God.

And of course, it's such a delight when the artist you admire turns out to be a wonderful human being as well. Grateful for this piece—and for the person behind it.
