Star-Spangled Comics #83, homage to Tales Of Suspense #55

A seventh entry in my "One More Issue" Project commission series, imagining what might have happened if a Golden Age hero and/or title had been given (as the name suggests) one additional issue.

I'll admit up front that this is a bit of a cheat - Robotman's last appearance in Star-Spangled Comics was indeed issue #82, cover-dated July 1948, but the following month the strip switched to being a back-up in Detective Comics (issue #138), where it continued until issue #202, cover-dated December 1953.

However, I thought it was unlikely that DC would have put Robotman on the cover of an issue of Detective Comics in 1954, but it felt credible that he might have been the cover feature of an issue of Star-Spangled Comics, so I had Stephen Baskerville use the design (and some wording) from Tales Of Suspense #55 to feature Robotman and Hawkman's foe The Monocle - and if you want to assume that the Monocle has got hold of one of the many shrinking rays or miniaturization devices from the Golden Age DC universe and used to to reduce Robotman to a few inches in height, feel free.

(The "Added Attraction: Tomahawk" wording is lifted from Star-Spangled Comics #80, to fill what would otherwise be an awkward gap.)
