Description
As I post this page I looked up the issue on DC database and see the cover and realized that it is from the very first comic book I owned. I got the comic as a treat on Halloween in 1973 when I was 9 years old. I did not even realize this when I bid on it. It grabbed my attention because it included Clark opening the shirt to reveal the S and jump into action. The creators were also a big part of my interest. If anyone knows of more pages to this issue available, please let me know.

Any page including a panel showing Clark in the classic "Tearing the shirt open to reveal the S" is a treasure to own. Congrats on getting one and double congrats on realizing AFTER the fact that it's from the first comic you ever owned. That just adds so much more fun to acquiring it!

Such a thrill to get a page from your first comic. Lots of nice Superman features in there as well.

Now that's what I call a happy accident!!! A page from your first comic, and you would've bought it anyways regardless of that, which makes it even more special as the content quality alone made you want to own it but your personal connection to it will add even more to it's importance in your collection. congrats Lee!

Thanks Kavi. I am very happy. I probably showed this in an unboxing and didn't realize it at that time. Maybe I should look up the issues while I'm unboxing. I would have caught a real moment there.
