DescriptionCavewoman: Rain #4 p17 (1996) Budd RootMeriem performs a dual rescue from stampeding dinos of this dynamic page culminating in a half-splash. Meriem and triceratops are featured in every panel. This was purchased with only a description that it came from the Rain mini-series but I was able to identify it directly. Research indicates this is an extremely early page from Caliber Press - there were only six issues of her introduction series and then this was the second series making this her 10th issue appearance. There is very little sales history out there from these early appearances making this a rare opportunity for Budd Root fans. Back of page has free bonus artwork of a "wind rider" vehicle. Use of white-out as part of the creative process. Small line of glue stain at top left of artboard. Word balloons are paste-ons. Unfortunately this page had the top and bottom margins of the artboard trimmed away, but the artwork is fully intact. Artboard measures 14"x11".
