Happy Holidays to everyone! Have been procrastinating on posting this Cankor stunner and figured this was just in time for Cankormas. This is the cover art for the 2016 release. This book collects the very first two issues of Cankor which were released in 2014.

We see some signature Cankor elements at play here including the wires, but the pose and composition are what really shine. Cankor appears Magneto like as the sentient army of Canks await his command. Matt really nailed proportion and stature with this. Cankor is stage left, but the way the hand and cape extend to the rest of the page works extremely well. Top it off with a hand lettered title and you have a cover quality composition that would bring a smile to the most expressionless of Cankors. Want to send a sincere thanks to my friend George for this opportunity!

Love those Cankor sores that expose the organic and mechnical conduits within. Very supernatural with how he can command his hordes!

Yes, the angle and proptions are perfect, as you say. The mass of black hoods (?) of the canks seems to create another shape in the image, adding to the cleverness of the design. Excellent cover!
