The Prompt: "Your favorite Astro City character"

I think we all know the drill by now. I like to ask which ever mystery artist gets my requests to draw an Astro City character. So far I have asked for this prompt 5 times and I have received 5 different characters from 5 different artists. This is such a fun way to explore the work of artists that are new to me or at least new to the collection and get some cool pieces featuring characters from one of my favorite comics without having to detract from my primary collecting focus.

I've been wondering when/if my prompt would get to an artist that would choose to tackle Jack in the Box. I was worried that his costume would scare folks off, much like another garishly clad hero named Jack (IYKYK). But, if anyone was up to the challenge, it was always going to be JP. His highly kinetic style perfectly captures not only the vibrant colors (my first color mystery sketch!) of Jack's costume, but also the hero's high-energy acrobatics. And who doesn't love a good "SCHWOONG!"?
