DescriptionThis was my last art pickup from 2025, just posting now to bring the new year as my first 2026 post. I thought I was done for the year but saw Kevin at a table at a local Galaxy con show that I had not planned to attend until the night before. Fortunately, he was finishing up the only commission on his list for the weekend and was happy to add his homage version of the Hulk poster by Bob Larkin for the weekend. Really happy to add his take to the gallery, as I have always enjoyed how Kevin draws facial expressions.I don't have any more artists set up at this time and hope to add a couple more this year - feel free to make a recommendation! i know this is a homage but Maguire's Hulk looks more massive and crazy than the source material. fantastic addition to your collection

Thanks Danny! It never ceases to amaze me how much an artist can honor the original source material and simultaneously bring so much of their own style. I love seeing how an artist adds their own personality to a piece.

Ha! Were you there on Friday? If so, that was probably my sketch card he was working on. The whole episode with that card was an adventure. After Kevin and I agreed on the subject and the price, I reached into my pocket and realized my money was in my other pants at home. So I had to go and stand in a mile long line for the ATM. When I got to about second or third in line, the damn thing ran out of money. Luckily a very nice security guard told me there was another machine on the other side of the building. After making the long hike to the other machine, it still took me several attempts because it was an out of network bank and didn't like my card. It took me so long to get the cash that by the time I got back to Kevin, he was actually done with my card. But other than that, it was loads of fun. Haha! Congrats on this killer homage.

It was Saturday and probably not the same show (unless you traveled to the midwest last month) but I did have to wrangle a ticket to come back Sunday as I only bought a one day ticket. Glad to hear we both figured out our quanadries and able to bring home the art! Can't wait to see you piece!

I like how Maguire has Hulk's facial expresssion conform to the rectangle shape and we are not missing any bit of the rage!

Yep, full force in-your-face rage perfectly captured. Thanks Marcus!
