DescriptionHere's an animation cel of Shaggy Rogers trying to push open a trap door as seen near the end of The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo's second episode "Scoobra Kadoobra". Consistent with their reputation for saving animation frames at every chance, Shaggy's mouth would have been animated on a separate cel layer, assuming the paint details weren't lost to smudging as this cel evidences some of that too.I've included a screencap of the cel in its approximate final form from the 15 minute, 51 second mark of the VUDU/Fandango at Home digital copy. Great piece with a rare red shirt Shaggy! Good thing he still had his bell bottoms.
