Fun sketch! All bets are off for the winner in this contest. Never underestimate an aardvark.
Very fun piece!
It's a shame we never got that X-Men-Cerebus crossover that Sim and Claremont proposed.
You sorta did with the Uncanny Wolverroach!
The steel will clash and clang, and the tudes will carry the day! This is the type of face off that deserves a special celebrity guest referee at Wrestlemania! Sweet vintage sketch by Anderson :)
Should definitely be a ladder match with a belt made of grapefruit dangling above for the victor.
One blade versus six. Not crazy about the math, but love the drawing.
Wolvie doesn't stand a chance.
Great weirdo combination and enice arly Anderson art example with those two dangerous "animals" :) Logan is in for a truly awkward aardwark fight !
Wow man!!! This is so good and cool!!! I like very much Brent on Mutants!
My enhanced senses smell bacon, bub!
It's a toss-up, Wolverine's got the smokes, but Cerebus is the best there is at aardvarking, congrats either way!
My money is on the small guy...Wait a minute, they both are.
Prime time Brent Anderson! I think he could have been regular artist on UXM, but he left us with a classic with an impact that is still referenced today.
Which is mightier, the Claw or the Sword?
God Loves; Aardvarks Kill! Super cool to get an Anderson Wolverine, but even rarer is to score a Wolvie commission where you -know- that he's going to get his ass handed to him! :) Great pick up, Rick!
Bent Anderson is so good. He needs more appreciation. His Kazar was beautiful.
Man, this is so cool! I've always loved Anderson's work, but to see him having rendered Wolverine so tightly, it's almost as if he was riffing off of George Pérez. For a fan drawing, no less! The Cerebus faceoff is a fun bonus, too.
It seems like a simple sketch but the details are very well conceived, from Wolvie's ears to the run on signature.
