Description
And here's the last of the pieces I picked up from Mark! I very definitely already claimed a Dream Girl from his 30 Days of the 30th Century event, but when I saw this one I just couldn't pass it up! She's one of my favourite Legionnaires, and the pose is different enough from the other one that I don't at all mind having picked up both. According to Mark, he did this piece for fun at a convention at some point.

I think my favourite part of this piece is the pose! It's very glamourous and self-confident, sort of like a model on a catwalk, which is pretty much how Dream Girl goes about her daily life, anyways. I like that Mark gave her the frosty white lipstick she occasionally wore in the comics, and the hints of blue he used to shade her metallic costume do a lot to convey how it's shinier than her hair, even if it's essentially the same colour.

Great pin-up all around, and her expressive eyes look like they can see right into our dreams!

I sort of like that Mark left her eyes uncoloured!  It gives her a more ethereal, mystical air, very in keeping with her powers.

Definately getting a strong runway/catwalk model look vibe from the pose like you said, totally see it! It has a more rigid and proper posture to it whereas the other Dream Girl by Mark feels like more of a looser or relaxed posing. They go well together!

I do really like that her hair is loose and flowing in the other piece, but very still and styled in this one! Probably my favourite difference between the two.

Every step she takes is like a model on a catwalk!  Very celestially regal with the starfield background.

I think "celestially regal" is the perfect way to sum up this piece!!  Many thanks, Marcus.
