The Amazing Mary Jane #1 Sketch Cover Prelim 02

Here we have the beginning of fleshtone rendering. Using Copic values E0000, E000, E00, and E01, I'm attempting a light skin tone since redheads usually have a light pallor. I'm hoping to add in freckles where I can to drive home the fact MJ is a natural redhead, but given the size of the figure that hope is left up in the air for now. For her eyes, I used a plain Apple Green - G14 - and her lips R24, R27, and R29. I've also added some fleshtone on one of her photos. Again, as I mentioned before, the photos will be rendered with copics and hard lead colored pencil to get a pastel look that will distinguish them from the live figure in the center.
