Wayne Vansant - Tank Battle Prelim (2015)

A dramatic prelim of tanks battling in what appears to be WWII Russia, by Wayne Vansant who is known for his work on military and historic war-time works such as The 'Nam and Savage Tales for Marvel comics. It's possible this piece was used as an interior preliminary illustration or possible alternate cover idea for the cover of his Knights of the Skull graphic novel. The art is done in graphite on illustration paper and measures approximately 8"x10". Signed and dated by the artist in the lower left margin and in excellent condition.
