Epic and evocative! Tremendous piece, one of the best Stingray's yet! I love the darker color pallette overall with the moonlight over the ocean water. Huge congrats on the commission result, this certainly would make for an awesome trading card or variant cover!

Oh, woooooow... A simply unbelievable piece, Newell! Your write up is fantastic, and you totally nail it: The lighting is -superb- (it feels like a Frazetta to me!), the anatomy and posture are dramatic and powerful (as Stingray triumphantly breaches the ocean's surface), but that water - goodness gracious me - is flat-out stunning. The color, the translucency, the spray... just incredible work by the Maestro. Your brilliantly unique collecting angle continues to yield incredible results, Newell; a year ago if you had told me so many of my favorited pieces would contain Stingray, I'd say something was definitely fishy... but here we are: fishy and loving it. Enormous, Pacific-sized congrats on this sea treasure, Newell - wow!
