Description

Cover to Something is Killing the Children #44 Variant cover by Davis Rider Comics and Comic Tom. First revealed at the 2025 New York Comic Con Trade Dress Limited to 500 copies Foil Variant limited to 250 copies I purchased this cover last summer, but was waiting for Dan to completely finish all the oil paint. The published version had some digital finishing on it and he promised me he would make sure it was completely painted in oils as it looked published. The main image is a picture taken by Dan as it sat on his easel 1-2 days ago and the second image is the published version. Oil on wood panel 13" X 18 3/4"

Killer piece!  Some say he's the next big thing and he'll inspire more illustrative fantasy painters to crossover into comics!

I think that is very true. I met with Dan last night and he has so many covers and things to do. He is very grounded in his work and it takes all of his focus. He has his career mapped out.
