Description
The first Punisher comics I ever read was the Punisher Magazine #10. I remember vividly being blown away by the story by Mike Baron and Whilce Portactio’s art in B&W, similar to the joy of reading SSOC. So, I have been wanting a Punisher cover by Portacio for quite some time and I’m pleased to have acquired Whilce’s final Punisher cover in the 90s from fellow CAF member Dan. This cover carries significance beyond Portacio; I usually spend the X’mas holidays with family in Henderson, NV, and so it’s nice to have that connection in this cover.

As a side story, I met up with Dan in NY, and we had pizza! We connected on so many levels, it’s just an added bonus to make a new friend in the hobby.

Awesome Portacio Punisher cover, always great to meet up and do a deal locally with a fellow collector as well - nicely done and congrats! Didn't know about your NV roots/holiday season time either, I can think of a Vegas based Punisher collector that might also appreciate this one! ;)

Knowing Punisher is on the strip puts all the connected guys on alert!  Randall sure kept true to the Portacio lines in creating the whole battle cover!
