Description

Day 19. Thirty-one days of Star Wars (2026 edition).

This is the final issue of the six-part comic book miniseries that concludes Cade Skywalker's story arc in the Star Wars: Legacy era.

Battleground Coruscant. The allies have carried the battle to the Sith. The war for control of the galaxy is not over yet. But it will be by the end of this issue. Traitors will be revealed, heroes and villains will fall, and an empire will be toppled. It all ends here.

Not even sure where to start to unpack what all is going on here. Cade Skywalker has defeated Darth Krayt, and has left the planet on a one way mission to destroy Krayt's corpse in the nearest star to ensure the Sith can't ever be ressurected (as you do). Meanwhile, Jariah Syn, Deliah Blue, and Artoo are trying to effect repairs to the Mynock while Morrigan Corde is reaching out to them. Morrigan is a complicated lady; an Imperial Intelligence agent, a high-ranking Moff, and who also happens to be the mother of Cade Skywalker. She lived a double life for two decades, serving in the Fel Empire, the One Sith Empire, and as a spy in addition to shacking up with a Jedi. Morrigan informs the Mynock's crew of Cade's plan, and Cade's friends redouble their efforts to repair the ship so they can go save their friend.

This is another page from the first time to market batch that Dan recently offered. Again, I manged to score a second page with my little blue and white droid pal. Thanks as always Dan!

This is the May!

You've unpacked it pretty well, far too well for my mind to make any sense of. So I'm just going to say that the page overall is very nice. Jan & Dan make a great artistic team, and with a name like "Jand & Dan", they may also have a future together i nthe music industry, if 50's and 60's doo wop ever comes back in style.

I also especially love the R2-D2 cameo and the hovering droid. As I say, a very nice page overall.

Honololu Luke, Wampa Talk, Darth Man's Curve, The Little Old Leia from Pasadena, Cloud City (Here We Come)... all the hits when they do the reunion tour!

I heard that you've battled Darth
That you found a world, Krayt’s corpse buried now.
I heard Dan your dreams came true.
Guess he gave you inks I didn't give Artoo

Old friend, why Artoo so shy?
Ain't like you to hold back or side force of light.

I hate to turn up Delilah Blue uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it.
I had hoped you'd see my Cade and Jan you'd be reminded
That for me it is Skywalker.

Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for Artoo
Don't forget me, Corde
And Jariah you said,
"Sometimes it blasts in love but sometimes fix hurts instead,
Sometimes it blasts in love but sometimes Sith hurts my head"

This page certainly has a lot of depth. I think the ink wash - if that's what it is - certainly contributes to the affect.

Love the hectic acrobatic repairs panel! Will they repair the ship in time?!?
