This is an important work that is loaded with Surrealist iconographies. The shape of her hands is echoed in the shape of her hair. Tiny man and woman figures running on a vast empty desert landscape. A vertical pole and corresponding rectangular monolith suggest sexual intercourse. And nipples that are transformed into floral shapes etc. Yet most important, is the faceless nude figure itself. It seemingly grows out of the desert into monumental proportions. Her clothing has fallen and acts as a plinth on which the figure sits. Notice how Castellon echos the shape of the pubic area with the same shape of the V shape of the clothing.
